Stellar spearheaded the complete migration of L'Arbre à Café, the benchmark specialty coffee brand founded in 2009 by Hippolyte Courty, from PrestaShop to Shopify.

The project included: a new, more contemporary and elegant artistic direction to enhance the noble quality of their exceptional coffees, a redesigned UX to streamline the discovery of origins, and the implementation of a flexible and customizable subscription offer via ReCharge, to allow enthusiasts to effortlessly receive their favorite microlots regularly.

Hippolyte Courty's passion for exceptional coffee

"From producer to drinker" – this direct and respectful relationship is at the heart of all L'Arbre à Café's work. Since its creation in 2009 by Hippolyte Courty, a legendary figure in specialty coffee in France, the brand has offered rare and precious coffees, grown by passionate farmers in full environmental and social harmony. Hippolyte travels the world to meet these exceptional producers, personally selects the most remarkable micro-lots, and roasts them with goldsmith-like precision in his Parisian workshop. Each L'Arbre à Café coffee tells a story – that of a unique terroir, a rare botanical variety, and expertise passed down through generations.

Fair trade and complete traceability

L'Arbre à Café practices authentic fair trade that goes far beyond certifications: fair remuneration for producers, direct and lasting relationships, and absolute transparency regarding the origin and purchase price of each lot. The brand promotes environmentally friendly cultivation methods, often organic or agroforestry, which preserve biodiversity and soil quality. A virtuous approach that produces coffees of exceptional aromatic complexity while concretely supporting producer communities.

A migration for an improved experience

The program included: a new, more contemporary and elegant artistic direction that enhances the nobility of the products, a redesigned user experience for greater user-friendliness and fluidity in discovering origins, and the implementation of a flexible and customizable subscription offer with the ReCharge solution, allowing enthusiasts to regularly receive their favorite coffees effortlessly.
